I have made some good progress on healthier practices... both my girls now take turns helping us cook and choosing vegetables for the day. I meal plan around veggies we get on Saturdays.... all of those things are helping, but I still can't seem to actually get my scale to move downward.
I did hit the gym twice this week... but I need to get back to Body Pump, I have been wimping it out on a treadmill.
Gah, my post is depressing, sorry ladies.

Okay, you plan your meals around VEGETABLES and you think you're a slacker? We need to switch places. I would much rather work out than eat a vegetable. If I could get that piece together, I would be hitting on all cylinders.
There is nothing wrong with moving at your own pace. No one gets it all at once. Besides, everyone knows the scale lies. What about clothes? Do they fit better? Do you FEEL better? Cheer up! We're all in this together. :)
It's not depressing... It's the truth. Losing weight isn't easy. I did really well for 2 weeks. This week has been a challenge. But the key is DON'T GIVE UP. If you have a bad moment, day or week, even a couple weeks, just dust yourself off and try again. Look at the positive changes that have occurred.
When you feel like slaking... think about me telling you not too! LOL!
Um... that should have been slacking not slaking!
OMG! Hang in there Tiffany! I was feeling the same way until that 2lb drop this week. Just keep making the changes that you can and eventually you will see a difference. :)
I'm chiming in late, but just wanted to say you're not alone. I haven't worked out at all this week. I am a LOSER. I'm rededicating myself today. To excersing, drinking more water, and taking care of myself.
If it weren't for the fact that I have to go to my appointments with my personal trainer, I wouldn't go to the gym at all, it seems. I've gone twice this week - both times when I have appointments with Jose (if you no-show, you pay for the session anyway and that's just too expensive for me to throw it away).
You're still doing good! Sure, the working out needs to be boosted, but you're planning your meals around vegetables! And eating healthy is 60% of weightloss. I'm not kidding. Even Jose (who wants me to keep going to the gym & spending my money there) tells me every time I work out: "This means NOTHING if you don't eat properly!" So, major points for that!
Find something you enjoy doing -even if it's just walking at a faster pace or maybe taking a dance class or something- and build up to doing more. You've got this, girl! YOU CAN DO IT!
