Yes, they are gorgeous. Yes, no one's kids look cuter than mine. Yes, I'm biased. Yes, they are demons in disguise. But for now they're exhibit A and B.
Several months before exhibit A was conceived, I had just moved up from a size four (U.S.) into a size six. After she was born, I was a size eight. Several months before exhibit B was conceived I transitioned from a size eight into a size ten. I suppose I should be lucky that I am still a size ten.
After I had exhibit B, I decided enough was enough. I was determined to get into shape. With that in mind, I purchased Tony Horton's 10 Minute Trainer It sounded perfect for a busy working mom. I started like gangbusters, but fizzled out after about two weeks. I found that once I missed a work-out, it was hard for me to get back on track.
Hey, I was Sergeant in the U.S. Army. How could I not finish a simple workout program? I found that I was lazy. It was very different trying to work out when you didn't have to. I figure that having to post my progress every week and receiving nasty grams if I fall off the wagon will keep me on track.
My stats:
Height: 5'4
Weight: 155 pounds
(Side note: Was trying to take rest of stats but I couldn't find the tape measure, but I have stats from when I first tried to lose weight this past summer. Since I was 3 pounds heavier I'll use those stats.)
Chest: 40'
Left Upper Arm: 13'
Right Upper Arm: 14'
Waist: 35'
Hips: 37.5'
Left Thigh: 23'
Right Thigh: 22.5'
My goals for the next 90 days are simple and are as follows:
• Complete my exercise program
• Eat healthier (i.e., no more fast food)
• Lose 20lbs (ultimately 30lbs)
I can't wait to beg in my journey of excising and responsible eating with you.
